Eva Kozlova is a Toronto and Europe-based Production Designer working in film, television and various short format mediums, managed by Breathe Entertainment.

Eva’s keen attention to detail and composition can be seen throughout her work. She approaches every project as a distinct opportunity for unique visual storytelling, and particularly loves the challenge of bringing material alive in character-driven films. Eva’s designs are informed by her background in art history, fine arts and film studies, and she aims to add depth and creativity to her work through a hands-on approach to design. 

Her work has been seen at festivals and venues around the world, garnering wins, nominations and showcasing at the Indie Spirit Awards, Junos, Fantasia Film Festival, Paris Design Awards, and NYFW. Most notable is Eva’s design work on feature film The Novice (2020, IFC Films), which was awarded the Narrative Grand Jury prize at Tribeca Film Festival, where it had its premiere. The Novice has garnered extensive praise and media coverage (The Hollywood Reporter, Vanity Fair, Vogue etc.) and currently holds 5 Independent Spirit Award nominations. Eva’s commercial experience includes work with clients such as Holt Renfrew, Canada Goose, Jessie Reyez, Adidas, OVO Sound, Disney+ and Sephora. Through her work, Eva is eager to construct compelling visual environments and with an artistic approach, bring creative concepts to life.

Most recently, Eva has taken on the Head of Design position at Breathe Entertainment, managing all design job and art department teams within the company.
